John Pearce moved to Swindon in 1980, the son of a vicar. Since childhood, he has appreciated what it means to serve the needs of a community. He spent his informative years growing up as a member of a family serving Swindon, enabling him to begin serving the Swindon community in the funeral profession in 1990 in a truly personal way. Since then he has gained extensive knowledge and experience, studying with the National Association of Funeral Directors and gaining his qualification of the Diploma of Funeral Directing in 1998. He has also studied with the British Institute of Embalmers and became a fully qualified member of the institute in 1997. He has continued to build on these foundations resulting in the establishment of Pearce Funeral Services. At Pearce Funeral Services, John and his dedicated staff aim to use these years of experience and knowledge to ensure that your personal needs are met. As a family concern we understand how every funeral is personal and every family we serve must be treated as individuals. At every stage of our service, to you, we will listen and can respectfully advise you, to ensure that the service you receive reflects the life and memories of your loved one. We are happy to discuss the arrangements with you in the comfort of your own home or, if you prefer, you are welcome to come to our arrangement room at our premises in Ermin Street. We can help with arrangements for differing religions and ceremonies, non-religious funerals and environmentally friendly options. We will also be able to help you with press notices in both local and national newspapers, floral tributes, service stationary, catering, administering and distributing of donations, monumental masonry, pre-payment funerals and offer help with any other concerns you may have. You are most welcome to visit our offices and chapel in Ermin Street at any time between 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. You can also discuss arrangements, or use our viewing facilities, by appointment, outside of these times. You are able to telephone us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are always only a phone call away.
