With offices and chapel facilities at Wimborne, Verwood and West Moors we are able to cover all these and there surrounding areas with our day and night 24 hour service, 365 days a year.

Nicholas O’Hara Funeral Directors was formed in 1974 by Nicholas along with his father Alfred (Pat), a local police officer and his mother Brenda, a nurse and owner of Somerleigh Court Nursing Home which is where today the funeral head office in Wimborne runs from.

A business full of traditional values but done with the appreciation of the modern era, Nicholas, Jackie and family thrive to make the business achieve the high standards that Nicholas had always aimed for when entering this profession. The modern and distinguished looking silver fleet of E class Mercedes, an ambulance that is fitted and equipped to cater for all situations, the chapels and offices decorated tastefully to match their surroundings and staff attired on the day of a funeral in navy blue suits again emphasising people’s more modern approach to funerals.
