Kiltedpiper
Description
"Kiltedpiper", Robert Walters, is a professional bagpiper, who has over 30 years of experience. Based on the Wirral and playing all over the North West of the UK, Wales and further afield if needed, Robert teaches and plays the Scottish Highland Bagpipes for all types of occasions from Burns Night to Hogmanay and available for hire for any occasion from Wedding receptions to funerals.
The sound of the highland bagpipes funeral lament has been heard on many a solemn occasion, most recently that of the funeral of the late Queen Mother.
Funeral laments from a bagpiper may be played at the church and crematorium service. I have over 30 years of playing at funerals and have led the cortege to the place of service; to pipe as bearers and mourners enter the chapel; to pipe a lament at the committal; to lead mourners to the graveside at a burial; to pipe as mourners gather their thoughts after the service.
I can also help talk through the selection of appropriate tunes and have many available on line so you can listen to them in your own time and help select those that are the right tunes or laments for you and your loved ones to help remember and mark this day.
What better final tribute could there be than to have a piper play for your loved one. The haunting and poignant sounds of the bagpipes will accompany those who have reached their journeys end.
I pride myself on fitting in with whatever the mourners require, I am seen and heard but am never obtrusive.
