From as soon as I could talk I was begging my parents to let me play the harp. The first time I touched a harp the sound was so intoxicating that I ran my fingers up and down the strings until they bled.

Today I am fortunate enough to earn my living from playing this fabulous instrument. Despite late night drives home, manoeuvring the harp across carparks battling against galeforce wind and torrential rain, unsociable hours and working at weekends, it is still the best job in the world!

The beauty of music crosses all psychological and cultural frontiers and unites us all.
